Old Tom Posted 25 July , 2004 Share Posted 25 July , 2004 My father served with a trench mortar unit of the 18th Division for the latter part of the war before being posted to the Divisional Ammunition Column at the end of hostilities. I do not know which brigade his unit supported and only recall that he spoke of a fellow gunner called Kitson as his close friend. I have a photograph which shows sergeants Williamson and Paton.
