Muerrisch Posted 30 January , 2012 Share Posted 30 January , 2012 My Churchill is N&M and rubbish re, illustrations. Which edition should I look for please?
Sandie Hayes Posted 30 January , 2012 Share Posted 30 January , 2012 Churchill & Westlake is possibly the only specialist book, I don't know of another. 'Military Badges of the British Empire 1914-18' by Reginald Cox is very good but is also out of print. 'Regimental Badges' by T J Edwards has lots of detailed drawings but is cap badges rather than collar badges.
Staffsyeoman Posted 30 January , 2012 Share Posted 30 January , 2012 Not having it at hand, a friend who does say ignore the N&M paperback - reproduction of illustrations indeed appalling - and get an original hardback edition. (All ediitons were N&M).
