Nice one, Mike. This book contains a very useful roll of officers and men, by company, who proceeded to France with the battalion on the 9th November 1914 (page 226 onwards).

It would do, Mike, but numbers are only occasionally given and then when differentiating between men sharing the same surname and intitial. Nevertheless, it would be easy enough to compare this roll with the MICs and add in a lot of additional info. I'd never heard of the Hathi Library before so well done for pointing that one out.
