A Concise synopsis of WW1?

Can anybody direct me to a website or book that gives a brief account (around an A4 sheet) of WW1 - i.e. causes, major battles, after the war etc etc. Thanks very much.

Very much doubt if one exists. Even Churchill at his peak would have allowed his staff more than one page. There is a series of small, pocket size, books with titles like 'A brief history of ..... It includes one on WW1.

historyonthenet.com do a good job of a formidable task, the page called "time line" may meet your needs

A one page history will be very difficult to find. When asked after it, I always recommand Norman Stone's "World War One - A short history". Reads like a train!!
