Moonraker Posted 3 June , 2012 Share Posted 3 June , 2012 There's a long article by Frances Osborne in today's Sunday Times News Review about morals during the Great War. (I think one has to subscribe to get the article on-line.) It tells of "khaki fever" affecting girls and women who were given to harassing soldiers, and "morality patrols" patrolling pavements, cinemas and parks. The article is linked to Osborne's novel, Park Lane, due out on June 7, which takes two women from the Edwardian era, through the war and into the 1920s. Googling will give details. John-B-Rooks Posted 3 June , 2012 Share Posted 3 June , 2012 Hi all. There seems to be free jubilee access to The Sunday Times (today only) (don't know, there may be a catch) at www.thesundaytimes.co.uk . An interesting article. John
