telaw Posted 13 August , 2004 Share Posted 13 August , 2004 Does anyone know what the uniform and cap badges for the foreign labour corps were? I'm particularly interested in what the Egyptian Labour Corps would have worn in France in 1917 and what there insignia, if any, would have been. Further, I'm trying to compile a complete list of the companies that were formed and were they served. So far I've come across: 5th (France/Palestine) 7th (Lebanon) 12th (Lebanon) 11th (Lebanon) 22nd (Lebanon) 24th (Lebanon) 26th (Lebanon) 32nd (Lebanon) 38th 62nd (Palestine) 63rd (Palestine) 70th (Greece) 73rd (France) 75th (France) 76th (France) 79th (France) 80th (France) 81st (Italy) 82nd (France/Italy) 83rd (France) 84th (France) 85th (France/Italy) 94th (Lebanon) 104th (Lebanon) 109th (Lebanon) 112th (Lebanon) 122nd 126th (Lebanon) 127th (Palestine) 128th (Palestine) Regards Tom
Terry Denham Posted 13 August , 2004 Share Posted 13 August , 2004 According to Cox's 'Military Badges of the British Empire 1914-18', no distinctive badge for the Egyptian Labour Corps has ever been recorded.
