bmac Posted 14 August , 2004 Share Posted 14 August , 2004 Don't know which 'Kings' you are referring to but the other battalion would be the 1/4th London Regiment (Royal Fusiliers) - the confusingly complete title of which I believe to be 1/4th (City of London) Battalion (Royal Fusiliers), the County of London Regiment (Territorial Force). From January 1916 onwards they were part of the 168th Brigade, 56th (1st London) Division.
Chris_Baker Posted 14 August , 2004 Share Posted 14 August , 2004 Golden rule: when in doubt, try the Long, Long Trail. The 46th Division order of battle tells you that it was the 4th (Extra Reserve) Bn, the King's (Liverpool Regiment).
