Guest waddington Posted 14 August , 2004 Share Posted 14 August , 2004 I am trying to find anything about the Wilhelmshaven POW Camp of the Great War. My grandfather was a prisoner there after being taken prisoner from the Ship 'King George' in 1916, first by the Moewe and then taken aboard the Yarrowdale. Any information on these events and place would be appreciated. Was there a Wilhelmshaven POW camp or was this a transit site. I have a photo of some of the crew including my grandfather in a football team at a POW camp. If any one can identify the crew or the camp I would be very grateful.
