Mullarkey had 3 brothers, two of whom also died.

L/Cpl Kevin Mullarkey of the 20th Bn died of wounds on the 20/03/18 from wounds recieved two years previously at Pozieres;

2Lt Niall Mullarkey of the 1st Bn died at Flers on the 05/11/16.

Lt C Mullarkey of the 2nd Pioneer Bn was the only one of 4 brothers to survive the war.

Lest we forget the Mullarkey brothers.

This is of particular interest to me as i am researching a soldier that died 6 days before this man due to wounds recieved on the 8th at this location. There is some info about it on the thread titled service record.
