Ken Lees Posted 19 August , 2004 Share Posted 19 August , 2004 I have been asked for assistance by the family of the three men in this photograph, so I thought I'd throw it open to the floor. Which of the Welsh regiments does the MM winner belong to? Is that an MGC capbadge on the man in the centre? I believe the man on the right is RFC. As for names - left to right: Edward John Morgan, Syd Morgan, Herbert Reginald Morgan. Thanks for any information. Regards, Ken

Ken Lees Posted 19 August , 2004 Author Share Posted 19 August , 2004 Thanks for the prompt replies. Is there anyone with a Welch Regt interest who may be able to tie down which battalion the MM winner, Pte. 57202 E. J. Morgan, was from? Thanks again, Ken
Guest phyllis42 Posted 19 August , 2004 Share Posted 19 August , 2004 Re the Photo of my Grandfather and his brothers. HERBERT, SYDNEY & JACK MORGAN. Thank you to all who responsed so quickly to the initial inquiry of Ken Lees. I am amazed that Uncle Jack won the medal for bravery, he was such a quiet and gentle man, no-one would ever have guessed. Thank you Ken for putting this on the forum floor for me. Shalom from New Zealand Phyllis Pearson daughter of the LATE HAROLD ROBINSON, 876873, SERGEANT 88th Battery/14th Anti-Tank Regiment of the Royal Artillery. Belgium, France, Dunkirk, and North Africa.
