CWGC give the following details Lindsay, Alexander Private Royal Scots 2nd Bn. 37 Years of age Died 8/3/1916 Service no. 2760 Son of the late Robert & Mary Lindsay I have a copy of the Medal Card which states Killed in Action 8/3/16 I really need to know if this is my mother's uncle, or whether I'm chasing the wrong man.
