Pablo247 Posted 29 October , 2012 Share Posted 29 October , 2012 Hi all My Great Great Uncle Alfred Parrish was a driver in the RFA (DVR3533) and was killed on 31st July 1918. He served alongside his brother Arthur, who was also a driver in the RFA (DVR2642). Arthur died on the way home from the front on 3rd December 1918 of pneumonia. On the 19th October last I attend a Roll of Honour ceremony in Pontypridd, Glamorgan, whereby Alfred's name was added the memorial wall in Ynysangharad War Memorial Park. It has inspired me to find out the circumstances surrounding my Great Great Uncle Alfred's passing. I found one record pertaining to him in "UK Soldiers Died in the Great War" section of Ancestry about four years ago and I have also "Googled" it to pieces but I just can't find anything else - not even which division or Btn of the RFA in which he served. Can anyone help so that I can pass on the info to my other Uncles and cousins who would like to know? Many thanks Paul
