I went to a book launch at Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, last night of 'The Diary and Scrapbooks of Cordelia Leigh 1914-1919'. Edited by Chris Holland and Sheila Woolf. She was the daughter of the 2nd Lord Leigh of Stoneleigh Abbey.Covers many aspects of the home front including her feelings for estate workers and local men who went to war.
