Sorry, I was gibbering with wrath about this waste of money that I mucked up title.

Please read as

Rank and Rate Vol II by EC Coleman.

Dreadful.

Possibly more when I come down from ceiling.

A more considered critique.

Nice paper and binding.

< 100 pp, printed in China, not bad.

Illustrations appalling: fotos could all do with breathing on [Word would have improved contrast and brightness no end, with minimal effort]

Some ills with no captions

A caption with no ills.

An ill. used twice [a foto at that

Indiscriminate use of possessive apostrophe

indiscriminate spelling of bombardier

no mention at all of the system of double rank/rate on RND officers and men [no suggestion he knew]

no index

no acknowledgements [so he cannot spread blame or credit]

far too many badges are sketched or drawn or mocked up: surely he knows collectors with the real deal?

no attempt to portray scale/size

far too many badges which appear in fotos are not dealt with in text such as marksman and good conduct badges

do not for a moment waste good money on this book, it is even too slim to use to even out the legs of a table.

Quite the worst I have ever wasted money or breath on.

I should have known better, because I was not very impressed by his Vol. I Officers.

Now I have the set.

Double whammy.

Mind you, putting the two together might just prop up the wonky stool in the bathroom.
