He was born in 1897 possibly a London lad and died in 18/10/1916 (Butte de WarlenCourt?.}ANy information would be most welcome as part of my research. It is intriguing that I have come across 3 lads from Retford School who enlisted in forces in , Australia, Canada and SOuth Africa all in their 20's.?
