Guest jimmid Posted 12 April , 2003 Share Posted 12 April , 2003 I have a photograph of my father's detachment in Training at Heaton park, Manchester in I think 1915. He was in the 2nd Battalion, The Manchester Regiment and went later to Mesopotamia where he was stationed near Basrah. He was an employee of Manchester Transport Department.
