Hello Des,Yes i do have an Irish connection on my Fathers,Fathers Side, but lost in the mists of time,Granddad served with 1st D.C.L.I. from August 14 up until July 1916 when he was considered not medically fit enough to be killed by Fritz anymore,i have his Army papers, and they mention that he had Red Hair,Green Eyes, the same as myself, the reason the Family History was lost was that G.G.Father was well to do in Eireland, and Dads Dad became a Socialist,So G.G.Dad,threw him out of the House and cut him off without a Penny, isuppose that was why he came to be living in Fulham when War broke out.He never spoke to his Father again, and thats all i know.
