9th Black Watch Posted 10 September , 2004 Share Posted 10 September , 2004 Hi, I'm currently researching the above soldier. He was born Coleraine, Co. Londonderry and enlisted Coleraine. He was killed in action, France and Flanders, 26 March 1918, aged 24. Commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial, Somme, France, Panels 49 and 50. Son of James and Annie Henry, Adelaide Avenue, Coleraine, Co. Londonderry. He's entitled to a BWM and Victory pair and was originally numbered 2652. Are there any pals from the Coleraine area who could have a quick look through the local press next time they're visiting the library/archives. If possible I'd like to obtain an obituary or copy photograph. I'd be happy to pay any photocopying/postage costs. In addition I'd be happy to reciprocate and help with similar research in the Fife/Dundee/Perth area. Best wishes, Derek
