dcarswel@iol.ie Posted 14 September , 2004 Share Posted 14 September , 2004 I do not seem to be able to locate the online MIC details for pt Robert Rowe. My first try and i am not sure if i have done it properly. The details i have are that the medal number is 10536 and he served in 2/9 DLI. Later information indicates a six figure number of 201112 or 201119. These are taken form his army brushes which i am assured are his! i know they changed to six figures in March 1917. Interestingly the 2/9 DLI appear to have been in Salonika from the end of 1916 but my chap's post cards etc are all from Arras and the family are certain he was in france for his 17, 18 and 19th birthdays. He was underage when he enlsited but i assume this shouldn't make any difference to tracking down the MIC. Any tips or help would be very gratefully recieved. Many thanks David
Jock Bruce Posted 14 September , 2004 Share Posted 14 September , 2004 Search on 'Durham' as Corps and 10536 as Other Keyword. That will find him. Jock Bruce
