pol o frithil Posted 19 September , 2004 Share Posted 19 September , 2004 i am trying to locate a photo of a frank m. finan from sligo in ireland. who died in 1918 and is buried in france. he served in the irish guards and service number was 10857. he was royal flying corps and service number was 51231. the last regiment he was in before he died was the 10th battalion of the sherwood foresters(notts and derby ),his service number was 72254.he died in france and is buried at mont huon cemetery at le treport. would any one have any information on a fred weir from county cavan he was in the royal irish fusiliers and served in world war 1 and he survived.if any one has info on cavan men who were in the royal irish fusiliers.
