Hi All

My good friend Neville Browning of Perth, Australia has just released his latest unit history, this one on the 31st Bn AIF.

Below is a photo of the dustwrapper. I will post more detail on the book shortly. Bound to be only a limited privately published print run, proudly produced within Western Australia, no overseas cheap labor here.

OK

The book is a B5 hard bound, cloth covered and stitched production with glossy dustwrapper. Some 464 pages with 280 photos and some maps. Many first hand accounts not seen before and covers from formation to end of war and return. Fromelles is well covered, as is Polygon Wood, Amiens and the Hindenburg Line.

Appendices include nominal roll, honour roll, Honours and awards, POW roll and finally a nominal index.

Neville can be contacted by email on

nbrowning1@bigpond.com

I look forward to learning more once I get a copy.

Cheers

Ian
