stevie1944 Posted 22 October , 2013 Share Posted 22 October , 2013 I'm looking for any war diaries for the units that made up the 59th (North) Midland Division in September 1917. I have them as 2/5 Leicesters, 2/4 Leicesters, 2/4 Lincolnshires and 2/5 Lincolnshires. I have the ware diary for the 2/5 Lincolns. Looking for any mention of the action on 26 September 1917. Thank you!
Adam Llewellyn Posted 23 October , 2013 Share Posted 23 October , 2013 Stevie, I can let you have both the diary entries for the 2/4th & 2/5th Leicesters on the 26th September 1917. I'm sure parts were put up on your original post? Send me a pm with your e mails details and I'll send them over. Regards. Llew.

IBO Posted 17 February , 2020 Share Posted 17 February , 2020 Hi, I am also looking for information on the 59th North Midland Division. My relative was a member of the 467th Royal Engineers Field Coy who I believe was involved in the Battle of Passchendaele and may have been located in the area near Dochy Farm or Bridge House Farm. Do you have any information that might help my search? Many thanks
Admin Michelle Young Posted 17 February , 2020 Admin Share Posted 17 February , 2020 Welcome to the forum. I would suggest that you start a new topic in the Soldiers and Units sub forum, giving as much information as you can about your relative, then the members can help you.
