MOrning all,i have been asked to see if there is ANY information on this Soldier who was my Friends G.Dad.My friend was under the impression tha his relative had been wounded (gassed) and after recovery was put to guarding German POWs,in my mates possession is a Model of a British MK4 Tank made from a shell case and the copper drive bands of German Artillery Shells,on the R.H side of the Model in inscribed CAMBRAI and a Number 249 (could be a German Regt no ?).

The Soldier who i need info on is. 42543,PTE F.ROGERSON,LAN FUS.

ANY HELP VERY WELCOME : :D
