Ferguson73uk Posted 3 October , 2004 Share Posted 3 October , 2004 In a service record I have, it states that a relative of mine was evacuated to 51 CCS and thence to 20 General Hospital. How could I set about finding the locations of these in August 1918? Thanks, Jonathan
Terry_Reeves Posted 3 October , 2004 Share Posted 3 October , 2004 Number 20 General Hospital was at Dannes Camier in Northern France, which is on the D148 between Nefchatel-Hardelot and Etaples. 51 CCS (also known as the Highland CCS) was located at Coyecque between 15.7.18 and 11.10. 18. This is on the D157 South of St Omer. Terry Reeves
