seaJane Posted 2 February , 2014 Share Posted 2 February , 2014 I haven't read these (yet) but am flagging them up in case anyone has children/grandchildren looking for reading material. Have to say that I know a couple of the authors, but I hope that doesn't imply I have a financial interest! Hilary Robinson has collaborated with illustrator, Martin Impey on Where The Poppies Now Grow, a fictional picturebook to commemorate the centenary of the First World War. It is published by Hilary’s own radio production company, Strauss House Productions. Stories of World War 1, for older readers, will be published by Orchard, and contains stories by Linda Newbery, Jamila Gavin, Adele Geras, Paul Dowswell, and Leslie Wilson. It's edited by Tony Bradman. sJ
