centurion Posted 28 February , 2014 Share Posted 28 February , 2014 One of those things "that not a lot of people know" is that the science fiction writer Eric Frank Russell (one of the giants of the golden age of SF) borrowed the story for his novel "Next of Kin" a tale of escape set in a future interstellar war.
