munchkin Posted 10 October , 2004 Share Posted 10 October , 2004 Hi All, One of my Soldiers does not seem to be on the CWGC site. Hi is listed in the Roll of Honour book for Sheffield (see attached Jpeg). I wondered if one of the pals could find any details on Soldiers Died please. Thanks Glynn. Anthony Bagshaw Posted 10 October , 2004 Share Posted 10 October , 2004 Glynn, your man won't be listed on SDGW Cd as only army personnel are in the database. For some reason the Navy and Air Force were excluded.
Jock Bruce Posted 10 October , 2004 Share Posted 10 October , 2004 The RFC was a corps of the Army so he is on SDGW. Twice in fact, once as RH/FA and once as RFC. The only additional nugget is that he is described as 'Territorial' - presumably he was RH/FA TF before being seconded/attached/whatever to the RFC.
