Hi all,

I'm wondering whether anyone knows of a resource where I could find some information on a relative.

All I know is that his name is William Gale, and he was presented with the Distinguished Service Medal. He worked as a medical officer and was born Worcestershire, Kidderminster around 1894.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if this is already known, but here we go anyway.

The 1901 census has Arthur William Gale, aged 6 and born in Kidderminster. He is residing at 13 Rack Fields, Kidderminster. Also there are father John (34), a carpet weaver, mother Annie (35), brother John (8), and sisters Savinio (13), Nellie (10), Annie (9) and Beatrice (1).

Image available if you want it.

Regards

Steve
