THE BATTLE FOR PASSCHENDAELE

OCTOBER 1917

ROLL OF HONOUR TO THE MISSING

The following names are on the Memorial to the Missing at Tyne Cot Cemetery, Zonnebeke, West Vlaanderen, Belgium. The memorial bears the names of almost 1200 New Zealanders who fell in the battles for Passchendaele and whose bodies were never recovered.

On the 12 October 1917, New Zealand lost 117 officers and 3179 men within a few hours.
