Michael Posted 28 April , 2003 Share Posted 28 April , 2003 Those of you who are interested in the above Battalion might like to know that their war diary is very useful. Unusually, on the back of the diary sheets are listed all the troop movements. The names, ranks and numbers of all the men who joined the Bn, went to hospital, returned from hospital, etc are listed. If only all diaries were like this one. I did see another like this one a while ago (I think it was the 6th West Kents) but it looked like someone had dropped all the sheets on the floor and shuffled them.
