IEthel was a housewife and it's about her experiences and observations during the war. The hardships that people were going through. Her husband a bank worker forutnately was too old for the war. It's hardback at £15 but waterstones are selling it for about £12 and on play.com you can get a new one from about £10.49. It's published by Ebury press.
