David_Underdown Posted 9 June , 2014 Share Posted 9 June , 2014 AE ART Co = Area Employment Artizan Company - part of the Labour Corps, but doing slightly more skilled work on the lines of communication AOC = Army Ordnance Corps Cent Wrks T.C. - possibly Central Works, Tank Corps?? COSNO (2077) DS DW WRR = Duke of Wellington's, West Riding Regiment RMA (HMS Agincourt) = Royal Marine Artillery, serving aboard HMS Agincourt RME = Royal Marine Engineers ROR Lancs - suspect this is a typo for KOR Lancs ie King's Own (Royal Lancaster Regiment) SBR = Sick Berth Reserve (ie St John's or Red Cross men who volunteered as Sick Berth Attendants in the Royal Navy essentially) YRBA
