NigelS Posted 29 June , 2014 Share Posted 29 June , 2014 An article 'They are gone. Yet if ever a generation should be remembered, it is this one' by Michael Morpurgo on remembrance & 'Only Remembered' a new anthology of 'Stories, Poetry and Family recollection of the Great War, offered by leading figures of today', edited by him, appears in today's Sunday Telegraph (29th June). In a related piece The war poem that moves the Duchess of Cornwall to tears the Duchess of Cornwall mentions the three Great Uncles she lost on the Somme, and how the Poet Laureate, Carol Ann Duffy's poem 'The Christmas Truce' moves her to tears.
