DLI Burial

I have just found out from D.L.I. Association that on Friday 29th Oct the remains of a D.L.I. soldier are to be buried in London CWGC out on the Somme. A party from the D.L.I. Association is going out for the burial.

I think the remains were found near Bazentin-le-Petit/Grand, regimental identification being by shoulder tags. There is also evidence that they think he may have been a bugler (don't ask me how they know that).

Does anyone have more info re how/where the remains were found.
