Location of trench

;) Can anyone help me locate Long Trench, the 6th Bn NF saw action hear in March 1918 the nearest villiage was Vauvillers south West of peronnne.

I have looked at the cdrom trench maps but i don't think it covers that far south

this is a scan of todays french map.

I would also be very interested to see the location of Long Trench.

The 6th Battalion (50th Div) and the 8th Div. were in the battle of Rosieres on 26th/27th March 1918 and were near to the 5th Durham Light Infantry and 4th East Yorkshires.

Long Trench is mentioned when the 6th Batt. were at a spot where the front line met the Rosieres - Proyart Light Railway and near to Vauvillers.
