David Filsell Posted 14 August , 2014 Share Posted 14 August , 2014 Not being able to read Welsh, it would be interesting to know if their experience was fundamentally different to the rest of the British Army.
clive_hughes Posted 14 August , 2014 Share Posted 14 August , 2014 I haven't got this one (yet), but it consists of lots of personal stories (Cymry in the title = Welsh People, and not Cymru which = Wales). Includes munition workers, nurses, and conscientious objectors as well as servicemen. Gwyn Jenkins was a member of staff at the National Library of Wales so it should be of a decent standard.
