Guest pollynation Posted 25 October , 2004 Share Posted 25 October , 2004 I now have my g grandads army number (14-18 war) and my grandads army number(39-45 war). Who do i ask for any records which have survived. I sent off a letter ages ago but have had no reply, and will i be able to get my grandads. I have original documents of their service books birth certificates and death certificates Unfortunately some pages of their service books are missing and hold bare minimum information. Thankyou Best wishes Pauline
chris basey Posted 25 October , 2004 Share Posted 25 October , 2004 Pauline A good place to start for WW1 researches is the parent site of this Forum. Click on 'The Long, Long Trail' at the top left of this page. For WW2 records see: http://wwiiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=82 Good luck
