Rifleman William Lawrence.

Today I have seen a reference to 9523 Rifleman William Lawrence 1st Battalion KRRC who was KIA at Ypres 90 years ago today.

In his memoriam his age is given as 14 years 23 days but is age is unknown according to his CWGC Certificate. He has no known grave but is remembered on the Menin Gate.

Was he younger than the age John Condon was reported to be?

Frank,

My attention was also drawn to this today in the "In Memorium" column of the daily Telegraph. Prior to the recent unpublished new findings about John Condon I was under the impression that he was 13 years and 10 months old.
