pol o frithil Posted 29 October , 2004 Share Posted 29 October , 2004 to the forum members, i am trying to find out what regiment a thomas caffrey who was from county cavan. his medal card is not listed on the archives website. he survived the war and his family who are elderely are looking to find out. the other query i have i am trying to find out if any forum members can help me. i wish to find out did a tom frehill receive a army pension during the 19th century. he was from county galway and supposed to have served in a british regiment. thank you in advance , pol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SteveE Posted 30 October , 2004 Share Posted 30 October , 2004 Pol According to the NA website the C's in the Medal Indices are 100% complete, as you suggest Thomas Caffrey doesn't appear to be there. Have you thought of possible different spellings? For example there are two Thomas Gaffreys, one of whom was in the Royal Irish Fusiliers, could that be him?
