stephen p nunn Posted 5 November , 2014 Share Posted 5 November , 2014 Just finished; 'The man who didn't shoot Hitler' by David Johnson. Brilliant bit of research and a really good read. All about the myth of Private Tandy sparing Hitler. Never mind the Hitler story, Henry Tandy was a very brave man and this book highlights his special contribution during the Great War. I well recommend it. Best regards. SPNMaldon.
Ken S. Posted 11 November , 2014 Share Posted 11 November , 2014 Just ordered it the other week but have only read the introductory parts. The paperback is print-on-demand, the photos are not the best quality and the font-size small and font/text is a bit light. In hindsight I would have spent a little more and gone with the hardcover, which was published under the title "One Soldier and Hitler, 1918".
