steve fuller Posted 3 November , 2004 Share Posted 3 November , 2004 Hi Steve & welcome to the forum What does the MIC say please: Is the 'Date of entry' or enlistment 11/8/15? Did he recieve a SWB? they often have further info on them apparently Any remarks on the MIC? Have you looked for the Btn Medal Rolls (the reference is usually next to the Medal entry on the MIC)? Any idea which Batallion he was in? If you can ID which Battalion he served with, you can see what they got up to from Battalion War Diaries; may be that someone here's got a copy of the relevant one, or a visit to Kew may be in order? Or pay a researcher to do it for you of course? Hope this starts things off mate? Good luck to you. Steve
