Moriaty Posted 10 December , 2014 Share Posted 10 December , 2014 On some Saturdays (possibly only in the summer) you can go up the church tower of St John's and get amazing views of the Cardiff landscape and, on occasions, the bell ringers give demonstrations. Moriaty Posted 12 December , 2014 Share Posted 12 December , 2014 Apart from an interesting church with a number of war memorials, I've just remembered, there is also a very reasonable cafe upstairs in the old Vestry of the church, it's called the Tea sPot - very good bacon rolls - and is open Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm. It is run by volunteers and in partnership with Innovate Trust. The cafe will be closed 20 December 2014 to 5 January 2015. There is bell ringing on Sundays 9.15-1oam and 5-6pm. KB I'm told that the Welsh Rugby Union Memorial is inside the Millennium Stadium. Tours are available via this link: http://www.millenniumstadium.com/tours/index.php.
