jamie 1978 Posted 3 November , 2004 Share Posted 3 November , 2004 I have the attached card and picture of my Grandad (on the right), which is the only evidence I have of him serving in the Great War. I have paid a researcher to look up any documentation that the National Archives may hold, but unfortunately there is nothing available, not even a medal index entry. From the card it says that he was at Parcham camp and in the Royal flying Corp. Is it possible that he was a civillian attached to the RFC in someway? I understand that the Redcross hold records of POW's and these records are held in Geneva- has anyone asked them to do a search? If anyone has any other ideas of where I could search for information I would be very grateful to hear from them Jamie Tyrrell
