BMoorhouse Posted 4 November , 2004 Share Posted 4 November , 2004 I appreciate that it will probably vary greatly from individual to individual, but how much information is normally found at Kew? Is there standard information (eg date/location of capture) and are there personal details/accounts in these records? Brendon.
Chris_Baker Posted 4 November , 2004 Share Posted 4 November , 2004 It does vary enormously. The best cases include long detailed accounts of the man's captivity, including his movements, camps, tasks etc. Often it includes names of other POWs, prison guards, etc. These longer statements generally came from debriefing interviews on return to GB. Others are simple statements of where a man was at a given date.
