michaeldr Posted 13 February , 2015 Share Posted 13 February , 2015 A few days ago the Turkish newspaper 'Daily Sabah' published this article on memoirs of Ottoman soldiers in the Great War; see http://www.dailysabah.com/features/2015/02/09/witnesses-of-war-memoirs-of-ottoman-soldiers-in-wwi I have English translations of a couple of the books mentioned:- "Allaısmarladık" by Yeditepe Publishing – the copy which I have is in fact published in English, not under the title 'Goodbye', but 'FAREWELL' [iSBN: 978-605-5200-18-3] "Çanakkale Kanlısırt Günlüğü" published by Denizler Kitabevi, the English version which I have is 'Gallipoli 1915 – Bloody Ridge Diary' [iSBN 975-92686-2-0] It should be worth following up on the others to see if they too are available for the anglophone student Good luck Michael Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
