Mark Hone Posted 7 November , 2004 Share Posted 7 November , 2004 I assume that you are referring specifically to 1st Battalion LF. Their extensive Great War career is well-covered in the Regimental History 'The History of the Lancashire Fusiliers 1914-18' by Major-General J.C. Latter (Two Volumes, 1949). You might also look at the 'Beaumont Hamel' volume in the Pen and Sword 'Battleground Europe' series, written by Nigel Cave.
