greetings fellow forum members,

i have a question for you in relation to the military hospitals that were in the field were the soldiers were brought to when wounded and died there. would the records for these hospitals be on the national archives or would they be attached to a government department in london. any info on this would be great.

Pol, I have bad news for you. There are no surviving records of these units except their daily war diaries. These give information about locations, the comings and goings of officers, summaries of casualty movements in and out, etc. No admission registers or the like, I am afraid.
