SMG65 Posted 7 November , 2004 Share Posted 7 November , 2004 It is possibly the Manchester Regiment, but don't quote me on that. SEAN

rmtruby Posted 7 November , 2004 Author Share Posted 7 November , 2004 Thanks. I was wondering what that badge was. Was it an offical badge? What would he have had to do in order to qualify for wearing that badge? Thanks, Ray

harribobs Posted 8 November , 2004 Share Posted 8 November , 2004 There are 4 Dents listed in the Pals Battalions book of honour assuming 'jock' was a nickname, it could be any of them, and if it wasn't....none

hmsk212 Posted 10 November , 2004 Share Posted 10 November , 2004 Hi If you search the on-line medal index cards using the surname Dent plus Manchester Regiment there are 11 names that come up, although one of these names , Cecil, I think is for an swb card and a medal card.
