Guest wcolinfulton Posted 7 November , 2004 Share Posted 7 November , 2004 I am searching for information on my grandfather, James Fulton of the Royal Irish Rifles. He was with C Company, 8th Battalion of the RIR and served as part of the Expeditionary force in France. We believe that he was born in 1889 but his Unit Register Card has his DoB as 1899 and this is causing us some confusion as this would have made him 14 years of age when he went to war. Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated.
Desmond7 Posted 7 November , 2004 Share Posted 7 November , 2004 Colin - can you tell us where he was from. I have enlistment lists for men from the Ballymena Borough 1914-1918 which are more or less complete. If he is from this part of Co. Antrim, I may be able to give you more.
