My Grandfather, Private William John Ricketts 3676, subsequently 251302 served with the 3/3, 2/3 and 3rd London Regiment. I have fairly full personal records but would also like more of an "overview". I have "The Royal Fusiliers in the Great War" H C O'Neill but it is a bit light on these units. Many thanks... I can't help directly but I have transcribed the war diary of 2/1 Londons also 173 Brigade. Obviously many references to 3/Londons. Covers the period Jan 1917 to Jan 1918.
